George Lucas finally came to the stage at Comic-Con Sunday to an ovation from thousands, some holding light sabers in the air, with soaring “Star Wars” music filling the room.

Star Wars legend George Lucas finally made his San Diego Comic-Con debut to announce the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, a "temple to the people's art" opening next year in Los Angeles.
