Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo remembered the important role Ozzy Osbourne played in his life and career in a new tribute to the late musician.

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo did not hold back in giving thanks to Ozzy Osbourne for helping him achieve his musical dreams on the eve of attending the funeral for the beloved heavy metal legend.

He also credited Osbourne for being the reason the supergroup Infectious Grooves was able to tour in 1991. "We weren’t ready to hit the road, but he made us step up and make it happen," Trujillo wrote, adding that they opened for Osbourne's Theater of Madness tour.
