The long-running saga of the infamously shelved live-action/animated hybrid film, Coyote vs. Acme, looks like it will finally see a happy ending with a global theatrical release in August 2026. Announced by Will Forte during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Coyote vs. Acme hits theaters on August 28, 2026.

The creative team behind the long-anticipated, and often shelved, Looney Toons film — including star Will Forte — offered an entertaining panel after Ketchup Entertainment resurrected the once-WB-tax-write-off from the dead.
