Lewis Hamilton has hinted at problems behind the scenes at Ferrari, 24 hours after calling himself “absolutely useless” and suggesting that his team should sack him.

A day after calling himself “useless,” Lewis Hamilton said he's facing issues “in the background” after another difficult Formula 1 race.

Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has backed Lewis Hamilton following another disappointing performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Seven-time world champion Hamilton qualified and finished 12th in an underwhelming showing at one of his best circuits, while teammate Charles Leclerc finished fourth after leading the early stages of Sunday’s race.
