Dotson has been working out with Jalen Hurts over the summer, getting that quarterback-wide receiver connection stronger in Houston. Dotson was traded to the Eagles just days prior to the final preseason game, needing time to acclimate himself to the offense.

WR DeVonta Smith (back stiffness) and S Drew Mukuba (shoulder) sat out practice on July 28, as did LB Smael Mondon (illness) and WR Danny Gray (finger). The following were limited: LB Jihaad Campbell (shoulder), DT Jalen Carter (shoulder), G Kenyon Green (knee), and C Cam Jurgens (back).
