The former Philadelphia Phillies slugger was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., on Sunday.

Alongside the stage here at the Clark Sports Center, a giant video board began to show a highlight montage to preface Dick Allen’s formal induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. A chyron promised that the attendees would hear Mike Schmidt on Dick Allen,

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, he will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025. Allen’s election came in December 2024 via the Hall of Fame’s Classic Era Baseball Committee, a 16-member panel which voted on eight candidates including Allen, Luis Tiant, Dave Parker, Steve Garvey and Tommy John.
