Kelsey Mitchell hit seven 3-pointers and scored 35 points and the Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 93-78 in a marquee matchup that was missing stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

WNBA fans were perhaps disappointed that Caitlin Clark (groin) and Angel Reese (back) were unable to renew their famous rivalry in Sunday's matchup between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky due to injuries.

The Sky came into Sunday’s contest extremely shorthanded. Angel Reese sat out for a second consecutive game due to a back injury, joining Ariel Atkins, Moriah Jefferson and Hailey Van Lith on the injury list. Chicago was also without their starting point guard, Courtney Vandersloot, who underwent season-ending ACL surgery in June.
