Washington was best known for portraying Sgt. Richard Baker in the sixth and final season of “Hogan’s Heroes” from 1970 to 1971.

It is the end of a TV era, as the last surviving main cast member of the series Hogan’s Heroes has now died. Kenneth Washington, who played Sergeant Baker on the series, passed on July 18, 2025, at the age of 89. No cause of death has been given, but it was confirmed that he passed away at his home in Beverly Hills, California.
