Thousands of Black Sabbath fans will pay their respects Wednesday to Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne as his hearse makes its way through the streets of Birmingham, the city in central England where he grew up and where the band was formed in 1968.

The Prince of Darkness was laid to rest Wednesday as Ozzy Osbourne's funeral was held in Birmingham, England. Fans flanked the streets and his late wife Sharon, their three children and his older children from his first marriage were all in attendance.
