Christian Wilkins kissed a Raiders teammate on the head during a meeting, prompting a complaint and HR probe. The incident is now a key piece in the team’s case for voiding his $35.2M guarantee.

Carroll declined to comment when asked if an alleged incident involving Wilkins played a part in the player's shocking release last week.

“This franchise has a Commitment to Excellence on and off the field,” the Raiders said in a statement after Wilkins’ release. “With no clear path or plan for future return to play from Christian, this transaction is necessary for the entire organization to move forward and prepare for the new season.”
