A lot of New Mexicans have questions surrounding the shooting on the University of New Mexico's campus—including the families of those involved.

Paul Gallegos, 38, denied aiming a gun at officers, according to court documents. He faces several charge after the incident Friday at his home.

Antonio Gomez, 45, was fatally shot in Ranchos De Taos, N.M., on Wednesday, July 16, the New Mexico State Police announced in a statement. A woman, identified as Gomez's ex-wife, was also shot and survived the attack.
