MLB insider Jim Callis believes the Boston Red Sox are going to let go of minor-league position players, while holding onto pitchers, at the trade deadline.

According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Red Sox are not inclined to make large-scale moves at this trade deadline. This not only means Duran stays, but it's also unlikely that Boston will acquire a top-tier starting pitcher, despite it being a priority for head of baseball operations, Craig Breslow.
