The Smithsonian Institution has denied political pressure to remove Trump impeachment details from an exhibition

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History confirmed that a placard that displayed both of President Donald Trump's impeachments was removed for aesthetic reasons and not because "asked by any Administration or other government official to remove content from the exhibit.

The Smithsonian said that it would update an exhibit at the National Museum of American History to reflect all impeachment proceedings in U.S. history after a placard was removed last month.
