FULSHEAR, Texas — The developer of a transformative town center project in Fulshear is celebrating its groundbreaking. Janapriya Upscale USA, an affiliate of India-based real estate company Janapriya, is developing Fulshear Central on FM 1093 just west of Texas Heritage Parkway.

It happened just after midnight early Friday at the Hudson at Westchase Apartments off Hayes Road, according to the Houston Police Department. Police say a woman who lives at the complex went for a late-night swim and discovered the child in the pool. She immediately tried to help and render aid, but was unable to revive the girl.
