Hulk Hogan' s cause of death has been revealed following the wrestling icon's death at 71. Hogan, whose real name was Terrence Gene Bollea, died of acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, on Thursday, July 24, PEOPLE can confirm.

Hogan’s cause of death has now been revealed as acute myocardial infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack, according to the New York Post. Hogan also reportedly had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is a heart condition which results in an irregular and often rapid heart rate.
