Cristhian Mosquera has opened up on the emotional strain of leaving Valencia ahead of his transfer to Arsenal. The Spanish club appear to have failed in their attempts to convince the defender to sign a new contract and remain with them.

Cristhian Mosquera’s move to Arsenal from Valencia has been confirmed, with the centre-half signing a five-year contract and joining Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi as the third Spaniard to join the club this summer. The Spanish youth international has already flown to Singapore to join the group.
