Residents across the Garden State will face excessive heat through Wednesday, according to the NWS. A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday. Forecasters anticipate "feels like" temperatures, or heat indices, will soar to 104 degrees.

Philadelphia's streak of hot weather continues Tuesday as our fifth heat wave of the summer gets underway. On Tuesday, the heat turns up even more with high temperatures across the region likely in the mid-upper 90s.

Possible record-breaking heat is on tap for the Philadelphia area for the next two days, with added humidity that will make conditions feel much warmer.
