Thousands of cases of ice cream sold nationwide, including New York state, are being recalled for potential bacteria contamination. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration recently updated its risk warning for several flavors of ice cream bars sold by Rich Ice Cream Co.

On National Ice Cream Day this year, a recall of multiple ice cream flavours has been issued at an Ohio creamery by the Food and Drug Administration due to 'class II health risk'. According to the FDA,
