Kurt Kitayama began the weekend at the 2025 3M Open eight shots back of the leader, having made the cut by just one stroke after the first two rounds. The former UNLV standout then produced one of the best weekend performances of the 2025 season to secure his second career win on the PGA Tour.

Kitayama signed for an 11-under 60 and entered the clubhouse at 17 under for the tournament after narrowly sneaking inside the 5 under cutline Friday.

Daniel Kitayama, who has caddied off and on for his brother over the years, picked up the bag for the first time this season at last week’s Barracuda Championship.
