US President Donald Trump has hit back at a journalist over a question on “discrepancy” in his and his administration’s story on the breakdown of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. This comes after President Trump claimed Mr Epstein poached young women from his Mar-a-Lago spa and that he was later banned from the Florida estate after he continued to do so.
“Trump’s new story is that he fell out with Jeffrey Epstein because Trump’s most valued employees preferred to go work for a notorious sex offender rather than stay with Trump,” David Frum, a staff writer at The Atlantic, added. Someone said, “So this continues to be extremely weird.”
The majority of Democrats are happy egging on the Republican fight over releasing files related to Jeffrey Epstein. But some members worry they're taking their eye off the ball.

Donald Trump on Tuesday lashed out against the “fake news” after a reporter questioned the president on his differing explanations for why he ended his friendship with the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Last week, the Trump administration said the president banned Epstein from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club because Epstein was a “creep.”
