When Stefon Diggs stepped onto the New England Patriots practice field for his first training camp session, nobody, not even Diggs himself, expected the elite receiver would be showcasing his route-running skills against a four-legged opponent.

New England Patriots Stefon Diggs had some words for working with Drake Maye. While Diggs may have only been on the team since he signed a three-year contract in late March 2025, the Patriots receiver said to NBC Sports Boston he had much to cultivate and teach with the 22-year-old quarterback.

As Stefon Diggs joined the New England Patriots, the team's idea was to get a certified weapon that could boost Drake Maye's play at quarterback. Apparently, it's happening from the get-go.
