TV about a strange sighting in the sky across several areas. Whether it was Westmoreland County or Butler County, something seemed to light up the sky. This obviously brings up plenty of questions, including "what was that?

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -Mystery object that appeared in sky identified. There were actually two rocket launches Tuesday evening. One in Cape Canaveral, but the other in South America. The following story is from our sister station WFSB in Connecticut.

Visible across the Northeast, the bright, pill-shaped light was the exhaust plume from the United Launch Alliance's Vulcan Centaur rocket.
