Manchester City have completed the signing of James Trafford from Burnley. City are re-signing one of their academy graduates, with Trafford departing the club for Turf Moor back in 2023 in search of regular first-team football.

Goalkeeper James Trafford has returned to Manchester City on a five-year contract after helping Burnley earn a promotion back to the Premier League with the fewest goals conceded in the Championship last season,

The 22-year-old had been courted by Newcastle United for well over a year but has opted for a return to the Etihad Stadium, where he came through the club's academy.
