Country star Luke Bryan got hit in the face mid-performance at the North Dakota State Fair as fans defend the country singer and strongly criticized the incident.

While Luke Bryan did not address the incident on stage and continued performing, he spoke about the incident to media outlet Taste of Country.

Luke Bryan is currently touring the U.S. on his Country Song Came On Tour. With over a dozen shows under his belt since May, you’d think the 49-year-old is having the best summer ever, but a hiccup at the North Dakota State Fair has him feeling frustrated.
