Flood relief is one of many items the Texas Legislature is taking up in the 30-day special session called by Gov. Greg Abbott.

On July 31, state legislators will convene in Kerrville, the area most impacted by the July 4 flood in the Hill Country, to hear directly from residents, local officials and experts about the aftermath and ongoing needs.

Kerrville flood hearing Wednesday - three still remain missing. Survivors and community members from the area will be heard. A panel of weather experts will be in attendance. Resources will be on hand to help out too.
