A Long Beach man faces federal charges for allegedly sending money to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. He was arrested on Friday after FBI investigators discovered what appeared to be a bomb inside of his home.

A Long Beach man was arrested for allegedly providing financial support to those claiming to be members of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Justice Department said Friday.

The FBI arrested on Friday a man in Long Beach, California, for allegedly sending money to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, a designated foreign terrorist organization, according to the Department of Justice.
