Donald Trump has said that pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is something he is “allowed to do”. Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein who is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, was interviewed by Trump administration officials in prison for the second day in a row on Friday.

Maxwell has completed two days of interviews with U.S. Deputy Attorney-General after Justice Department reached out for any more case information
