Investors kick off a hectic week with stocks moving mostly lower after a U.S.-European Union trade deal, with a Fed meeting, jobs data and a deluge of corporate earnings on deck.

A surge in exports to the U.S. which led Ireland to far outstrip the growth rates of other rich economies waned in the three months through June. The president and the Treasury secretary have said they will wait for rates to fall before issuing longer-term bonds.
