The Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a trade for Minnesota Twins reliever Brock Stewart, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Thursday. The Dodgers are sending outfielder James Outman back to the Twins as part of the deal, per Alden González of ESPN.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a deal to acquire right-handed reliever Brock Stewart from the Minnesota Twins, sources tell ESPN. Minnesota has used Stewart in 39 games this season and he owns an impressive 2.38 ERA across 34 innings. He has a 41/11 K/BB and is every bit as dominant as any other late-inning reliever.

The Twins are serious about this. They're not going to wait around and allow a needed reset to become a long rebuild. Next out the door in what is very much a fire-sale: Brock Stewart, to his former organization.
