ESPN's Adam Schefter posted a confusing report on Monday regarding the Cincinnati Bengals and their hold out defesive star, Trey Hendrickson.

Shemar Stewart Reports To Bengals Camp

CINCINNATI --- Bengals legend Boomer Esiason is the latest national media member to weigh in on Trey Hendrickson's contract status with the team. Hendrickson didn't report for training camp earlier this week and flew back to Jacksonville, Florida after contract talks went awry.

Training camp for the 2025 season is here, though, and McPherson is looking to rebound. According to Dan Hoard, McPherson has made every one of his field goal attempts so far in training camp, going a perfect 18-for-18. McPherson told Hoard he may have gone too far down a corrective path after a great rookie season.

Week 2 of training camp is underway across the NFL. For some teams, this is when the action truly begins to distinguish itself from the prior offseason workouts as they now transition to padded practices.

The heat and stifling humidity that have dominated the first week of training camp provided a new test Monday as the unstable air produced lightning and heavy rain that forced the Cincinnati Bengals to stop practice halfway through and move operations to the indoor facility.

“Simmons says wider receiver Charlie Jones (their top punt returner) and Jermaine Burton are going to see time as a kick-return tandem. In the second year of the new kickoff rule, Simmons is looking for sure handers. He anticipates opposing kickers to spray the ball more to force returns and take fewer touchbacks.”
