Arduino microcontrollers have added Python to the range of compatible programming languages. Others can be used, and not just Arduino's own IDE app.

Python, the number one programming language in the TIOBE Programming Language Community Index in August, has further solidified its place at the top.

Some programmers laud Python as the most beginner-friendly programming language. It's easy to use, and its the closest code that resembles plain English, which makes it easy to teach.
