Cambodia and Thailand are meeting Monday in Malaysia for talks to end days of deadly fighting over their disputed border.

Today, Oddar Meanchey Province, on the forested border with Thailand, is home to some of the poorest people in a poor country.

Cambodia slammed what it said were Thailand’s “deliberate and premeditated acts of aggression.”
