It does indeed appear that PayPal has resolved the issue which was affecting its own app, as well as Venmo. The incident report PayPal had on its status site has now disappeared, and it’s changed the status of its “Online Checkout” and “Retail Checkout” services to “Operational”.

The Venmo reports have finally reached a level low enough where we can consider the outage done. Anything could change if things go sideways, but it appears that PayPal and Venmo have resolved the situation. Payments should process normally, allowing you to pay your rent.
