A funeral is being held today for NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, one of the victims killed in Monday's shooting at a Midtown office building.

NEW YORK (TNND) — A New York City police officer who was among the four killed by a gunman at a Midtown Manhattan office building will be laid to rest on Thursday. Officer Didarul Islam, 36, was shot and killed on Monday in the building that is home to the National Football League's headquarters while working as an off-duty security guard.

Family, friends and members of the New York City Police Department will come together on Thursday for a funeral for the "hero" officer who was one of four people killed in the Midtown Manhattan mass shooting.
