Emma Raducanu reclaimed the British No 1 title with a powerful straight-sets win over four-time major winner Naomi Osaka at the Mubadala Citi DC Open.

Emma Raducanu was no match for four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka at the Citi Open, with the Brit progressing into the quarter-finals of the tournament with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. It was the first time the two titans of the women's game had gone head-to-head, with Raducanu dominating the contest throughout.

Raducanu is also through to the semi-finals of the women’s doubles. The Briton and Elena Rybakina beat Giuliana Olmos and Aldila Sutjiadi 7-6, 6-4 to set up a last-four clash with second seeds Shuai Zhang and Taylor Townsend.
