The Elk and Lee fires in Rio Blanco County have reached over 120,000 combined acres as of Sunday morning, with winds from the northwest pushing the larger of the two fires to the south

According to the National Interagency Fire Center, the Lee Fire had grown to approximately 92,047 acres and is 6% contained on Saturday. The fire has caused road closures and evacuations in Rio Blanco and Garfield Counties.
