Emma Thompson was spotted debuting a very different look in the first images from an upcoming murder mystery series, where she plays a private detective with a spiky pixie cut. The London-born actress will play Zoe Boehm in the new Apple TV Plus thriller Down Cemetery Road.

Down Cemetery Road is produced by 60Forty Films and is written by Morwenna Banks, who also serves as executive producer alongside Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, and Tom Nash at 60Forty Films, Thompson, and author Mick Herron. Natalie Bailey serves as lead director for the series.

Yesterday (29 July) Apple TV+ revealed Thompson would be starring alongside Ruth Wilson in the new series Down Cemetery Road, an adaptation of Mick Herron's novel of the same name. Mick Herron is the author of the Slough House series which has since been adapted into Apple TV+'s Slow Horses.
