Stellantis expects more impact from U.S. tariffs on vehicles and auto part imports in the second half of 2025, the company said on Monday as it reported a preliminary 2.3 billion euro ($2.7 billion) net loss for the first six months of the year.

Since the tariffs took effect earlier this year, automakers in North America have been warning that tariffs will add costs and make them less competitive at a time when they are navigating a complex transition to electric vehicles. One end result may be less vehicle production in Canada.
