Trump Admin Nabs Suspect Who Threw Rocks At Law Enforcement During LA Riots
Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino announced Wednesday that 39-year-old Elpidio Reyna was arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at federal officers during a June immigration operation. Riots erupted in downtown Los Angeles that month in response to the Trump administration’s ramp-up of illegal migrant arrests in the sanctuary city.
Bongino Announces Major Arrest In Attack Against U.S. Border Agents
“You may remember Elpidio Reyna, a subject who allegedly threw rocks at federal officers during immigration operations in California June 7,” Bongino wrote on his official FBI X account. “We got him. He was arrested today at the U.S.-Mexico border.”
A shooter who allegedly opened fire on Border Patrol agents outside a federal building in McAllen, Texas, has been identified by authorities as 27-year-old Michigan resident Ryan Louis Mosqueda.
